Sizes and options

  • Height: 15cm or 30cm.
  • Individual post diameter: Hazel is a natural material, so diameters are approximate. between 20 - 35mm
  • Continuous roll length: 1.2m or 2.4m.
  • Ground spikes: the edging can be made with or without ground spikes.

Ground spikes and installation

With ground spikes, the first and last hazel pieces normally extend into the soil, with additional spiked pieces approximately every 30cm between them. These can be pushed into the ground to secure the edging.

Without ground spikes, all hazel pieces are the same length, giving a freestanding edging format for placement on hardstanding, such as flagstones or tarmac, rather than insertion into soil.

Made to order

Your edging is made to order from freshly cut hazel. Please allow up to 72 hours after placing your order for dispatch. Express delivery is not available on this item.

NOTE:

Fresh cut, made to order UNTREATED, I recommend using linseed oil, to insure longevity.
