Kenneth Walker is a consultant surgeon in London. He is on the honorary
staff of several hospitals and was a Hunterian Professor of the Royal College of Surgeons. He has interested himself in many things besides surgery - in philosophy and religion, in
Eastern literature and in various social problems. Apart from a considerable
number of technical works he has published several books for the layman, the best known of which are probably Diagnosis of Man, The Circle of Life, Meaning and Purpose (Pelican A211), and / Talk of Dreams. The Physiology of Sex and Human Physiology
(A 102) were specially written for the Pelican series.
